If there’s one piece that’s always screamed summer to me, it’s the white dress. Although we’ve ditched the “no white before Memorial Day” rule (and I fully embrace white denim year round), nothing feels quite as summery as pulling out a white dress from your closet. From backyard BBQs to brunch plans with friends or a day at the beach, they always feel crisp and clean and are the perfect pairing for your summer glow.

I grabbed this button-front white dress at the beginning of spring from Abercrombie of all places and have already gotten a ton of wear out of it this season. It’s one of the few pieces I had in my closet before the move to New York that felt summer-ready and can work for basically any occasion, from the office to date night because of it’s length and detailing. It’s also one of the very few white dresses I’ve found over the years that actually isn’t see through AND you can wear with both a normal bra and underwear, plus it’s machine washable and washes really well so you don’t have to be too precious about wearing it.
